Last month the Müller-Guttenbrunn re-launched the company in Brasov as Remat Müller-Guttenbrunn and the new head-office was opened on August 1st.
This step is taken in a program to identify the companies of the Müller-Guttenbrunn Group more clearly as part of our group.
For the MGG’s Romanian companies SC Remat MG SA in the Arad Region and SC Remat Müller-Guttenbrunn SRL in the Brasov region a joint new website has been developed, which we introduce on September 1st.
Furthermore the company has defined some key areas of competence for the Romanian companies and these are defined to be WEEE (recycling of Waste of Electric and Electronic Equipment), cable recycling, as well as the professional recycling services for industrial companies and the further development of container services for the professional collection of a range of (metallic) wastes. Of course the current range of recycling services will be continued in the known quality.
The investment in a new recycling line (see also chapter on new investments) for non-ferrous metals in Frumuseni underlines that strategic steps have been taken towards this new strategy. The latest technology shredder and the recycling operations are in a continuous process of further improvements in order to continue to be first of class in Romania.
We expect that these improvements will allow us to be recognized as a company that appreciates our environment by conserving resources. We work day-in-day-out on the development of a recycling society which allows keeping materials in a cycle, rather than wasting them. Our Müller-Guttenbrunn Group of companies contribute to save more than 1 million barrels of crude oil compared with the production of “virgin” metals and plastics and in addition, we help that every year about 1 million tons less CO2 are being emitted into the atmosphere and we are proud that the continuous developments in our companies in Romania largely contribute to these environmental improvements.
